Shagufta Ashraf

1. Hello I’m Shagufta and it is a pleasure to introduce myself. If I should characterize myself with three words only, I would pick enthusiasm, drive, and commitment. And that’s true about both my personal life and teaching. I am committed to my role of being teacher, and try my 100% in every interaction with fellow human beings. I’ve graduated from Air university in physics and have been teaching since 2015. Now I ‘m pursuing the position as a online tutor for international students. I have 8 years of experience of home tuition. Since these years of teaching I’ve learned a lot along the way, especially what teaching methods work best with various classes and subjects, but also how to deal with problems with discipline, something every teacher faces in this field. I see teaching as my mission, and as a dream job to have. My greatest strengths are my ability to connect to children on their level. I’m confident that my qualifications would contribute to empower children in future ahead.

My teaching style is one that incorporates small-group and one-on-one teaching. I believe this allows each student to integrate knowledge into a beneficial framework and gives them the safety and security of a positive learning environment. I strive to remain a strong source of nurturing support, encouraging the students to do their best and getting to know them and their learning styles.   My students must feel that they matter, that their opinions and ideas are valuable and that they are safe to express them. Therefore, I believe it’s essential that the teachers, parents and school community work together to create a collaborative learning environment for our students.   In conclusion, my ultimate goal as a teacher is to provide high-quality, individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of each student. I aspire to create a learning environment that is inspiring, making my students feel safe and secure. I aim to leave a legacy that other teachers and my students will remember: that I was a kind, warm person with a true passion for teaching.
