Dr. Rahila Yousaf
About Candidate
I am Dr. Rahila Yousaf and hold my PhD’s degree in Statistics from Riphah International University, Islamabad in December, 2019. My degree in Statistics provided me with the foundation to analyze statistical data with precision and focus. I am hard working, excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and professional committed instructor. I have eight years of experience as Lecturer in Fatima Jinnah Women University and various private institutions. During this tenure, I adapted positive reinforcement teaching techniques to encourage students conduct and development.
My expertise of researching and writing my PhD thesis has helped me developed and enhance the skills to apply MCMC methods including, importance sampling and Gibbs Sampling algorithms with Metropolis−Hastings step in order to resolve complex statistical problems. Since then, I have developed a strong interests in Bayesian inference of single and mixtures of transmuted family of distribution. Specifically, my experience by reviewing literature and writing five articles published in international journals listed in application form, has equipped me with the reading and writing skills required to become good researcher and demonstrator.
The following are some highlights of my qualification and experience:
• Conducting SPSS Workshop for graduate and postgraduate students at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi
• Proficient in Statistical Analysis and Software ( SAS and R programming )
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Worked as Department Coordinator of Mathematics Department in Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment
I am a suitable candidate in accordance to the requirements of the job as published in the advertisement given by you in the newspaper.
